Wim blogged about it already, Bert encouraged me to blog about it (sort of), and yesterday at Foo Camp, security researcher Dan Kaminsky reminded me to blog about it: Warner Bros is using Drupal for Mission Metallica, Metallica's newest album. Rock!
Metallica's new album is coming out in September 2008. For this wonderful occasion, Warner launched a sneak-preview site on May, 12th: Mission Metallica. I already subscribed to the newsletter back then but now that they opened for registration, I noticed that they are using Drupal!
Every now and then new behind-the-scene material, interviews and even parts of the new songs will be released. I can certainly recommend the "Metallica at KROQ Weenie Roast" streaming audio of the full show that took place on May, 17th, I think it's the best live concert I've heard them play in years. And there's more: members of the site will be able to download it in the DRM-free MP3 format, for free!
